Rob McCallum - Managing Director
McCallum PFCA is a successful hydraulic services consultancy led by Founder and Managing Director Rob McCallum. Rob has over 30 years of design experience and is FPAS certified and a member of the Hydraulic Consultants Association Australasia (HCAA) and the Institution of Engineers. PFCA is also managed by fellow Directors Blaine McCallum and Albab Fatmi, who are both also members of the HCAA.
The McCallum PFCA design team utilise their combined industry experience to make certain all our projects meet the highest standards for our clients. Experience in design from a wide variety of backgrounds ensures that design elements are considered from multiple perspectives, allowing for better integrated systems.
Our team consists of Hydraulic Services Designers from a wide range of backgrounds. All team members are committed to providing cost efficient, high quality, highly detailed and effective services designs targeted to the needs of our clients. We routinely exceed expectations with our communication and collaboration skills. Our dedication to quality and communication extends through all aspects of the design process, from the inception to the completion of the project. We excel at discussing ideas and options in design phase meetings and taking our eye for detail onto your project site to ensure that everything is where it needs to be. Our Design team will go above and beyond to ensure that you receive the best possible service in all areas of your project.
McCallum PFCA has an experienced Drafting team who are well versed in creating detailed hydraulic plans across multiple design formats. We are constantly evolving the drafting process to ensure that we keep pace with the industry and take great pride in our ability to produce highly detailed designs in 2D CAD and in the emerging area of 3D CAD (REVIT). Our experience in these areas is reflected in the quality of our hydraulic services plans. We ensure that despite the high level of detail present in our designs that all plans are easy to read, be it from a computer in a project managers office or on paper out on site.
At PFCA we aim to provide a professionally tailored hydraulic service design that shows what is required for you project, with a level of detail that far exceeds the “minimum” requirements. We understand that for a project to easily transition from the design to the construction phase that more information is of great benefit, both to the contractor and the project manager. Our high level of detail and application of important information create designs that make the installation of services smooth and stress free.
